WHAT PAYMENT METHODS DO YOU ACCEPT?

River Birch accepts check, credit cards (convenience fees may apply), and bank transfer payments.

DO YOU PROVIDE FREE QUOTES OR CONSULTATIONS?

We offer free consultations for our design, maintenance, and lighting services. We do a quick introductory phone call prior to a consultation, to address any general questions and better understand your property and project requirements.

DO YOU REQUIRE A DEPOSIT BEFORE WORK BEGINS?

Generally speaking, our design, installation, and maintenance services do require a deposit prior to initiating the project. Please contact us for details regarding the timing and amount for each service.

DO YOU OFFER SERVICES IN MY AREA?

River Birch designs, installs, and maintains properties throughout NJ and PA. If your area is not listed, please don't hesitate to contact us.

ARE YOU LICENSED AND INSURED?

Absolutely! Our NJ Home Improvement Contractor ID is #13VH10224300
A copy of our Certificate of Insurance, showing liability and workers compensation limits, is available upon request.

FAQS PROPERTY MAINTENANCE

Maintenance Plans & Services

WHAT GARDEN MAINTENANCE SERVICES DO YOU PROVIDE?

River Birch offers a wide variety of year-round maintenance services, specifically tailored to your property and budget. Our maintenance services include (but are not limited to):

  • fine gardening including perennial care, hand-pruning, and garden maintenance

  • container and bed annuals

  • planting of trees, shrubs, gardens

  • mulching

  • spring bulb displays

  • fall and spring cleaning

  • landscape lighting

  • snow plowing

WHO WILL BE WORKING AT MY PROPERTY?

Our crews are dedicated landscape professionals, many of whom have been working together for over 12 years and are focused on horticulture, safety, and the latest industry standards.

HOW MUCH DO YOUR SERVICES COST AND WHEN WILL I BE BILLED?

Several of our maintenance services do require an initial deposit and are billed monthly on a time and materials basis. Service charges are based on property size, visit frequency, and property requirements. Services such as mowing and snow plowing (available in select towns) are billed at a flat rate.

DO YOU OFFER LAWN MOWING SERVICES?

We offer lawn mowing services in a limited area including Hunterdon County and nearby towns. Please contact us to inquire about lawn mowing in your area.

DO I NEED TO SIGN A CONTRACT?

River Birch does require a signed contract for maintenance services. We work closely with you to tailor a budgeted maintenance plan and  that ensures satisfaction and proceed upon approval of that plan with a deposit for initial work.

DO YOU OFFER SNOW REMOVAL SERVICES?

We offer snow removal services including plowing, shoveling, and salting in a limited area.  Please contact us to inquire about snow removal services in your area.

Lighting & Irrigation Services

DO YOU INSTALL IRRIGATION SYSTEMS?

Not at this time but we would be happy to refer you to an industry trusted professional we have worked with in the past.

DO YOU INSTALL LOW VOLTAGE OUTDOOR LIGHTING SYSTEMS?

We offer customized low voltage outdoor lighting system install using LED fixtures and offer several control options. Popular lighting options include path lighting, down and up lighting, and customized outdoor scenes for entertaining.

DO YOU REPAIR AND MAINTAIN EXISTING LOW VOLTAGE LIGHTING SYSTEMS?

We remedy both one-time repairs and more comprehensive maintenance programs. If you're interested in upgrading an existing lighting system, our lighting technicians can recommend a course of action and products  including LED technology and other modern lighting solutions.
